Jeep(R) Brand Site to Offer Exclusive Download of Tim McGraw Song

- Never released McGraw song, "Louisiana," available for free to first 10,000 downloads at www.jeep.com\campjeep

- Exclusive content available beginning Aug. 30

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The "Jeep(R) presents Soul2Soul Tour 2007" may be over, but the partnership between the Jeep brand and Grammy award-winning country star Tim McGraw lives on.

On Thursday, Aug 30, Jeep will offer an exclusive download of McGraw's song, "Louisiana," on the brand's site at www.jeep.com\campjeep for free to the first 10,000 downloads. After that, the song will continue to stream on the site. McGraw, who is from Start, La., has only performed the song once - during his 2006 TV special "Reflected" recorded at his home outside of Nashville, Tenn. The song, a tribute to McGraw's roots, has never been released.

The exclusive content will be launched in conjunction with a recap of Camp Jeep 2007, the brand's annual "owner only" three-day mix of off-road driving and other family-friendly outdoor activities, which took place in Charlottesville, Va., in July. McGraw performed on the opening day of the event for more than 10,000 Jeep owners.

"While it was Tim and Faith's personal Jeep story that brought us together, it has been the ability to continue to expand our partnership that has made it so successful," said Pete Hollinshead, Senior Manager - Jeep Events. "Tim is one of the most popular artists on the charts right now, so we're pleased that we can offer his fans and ours the opportunity to download one of his songs exclusively at jeep.com."

McGraw was the most played radio artist and the top selling artist for the first six months of 2007. Earlier this year, his album, LET IT GO, became his ninth release to debut at No. 1 on the country album sales chart and its first single, "Last Dollar," racked up as his 27th career No. 1 hit.

The Jeep brand announced in March that it would be the title sponsor of McGraw and Faith Hill's Soul2Soul Tour 2007, after hearing that it was a drive in a 1978 Jeep Wrangler that brought country music's reigning first couple together more than 11 years ago. The Soul2Soul tour concluded earlier this month after 44 performances, including first-ever performances throughout Canada.

About the Jeep brand

The Jeep brand has expanded to seven models in the 2007 model year, the most available to retail consumers at one time in the brand's 66-year history. With the introduction of the all-new 2008 Jeep Liberty mid-size sport-utility vehicle (SUV), Jeep offers customers the freshest, most capable and widest range of sport-utility vehicles under one brand in the industry.

At the start of 2004, the brand's trio of tough, capable, rugged SUVs included the venerable Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty (Cherokee outside North America) and the icon of the brand, the Jeep Wrangler. In 2005, the Jeep Commander was introduced. In 2006, the redesigned Jeep Wrangler was unveiled. Also debuting in calendar year 2006 were three more all-new Jeep vehicles: Jeep Patriot, Jeep Compass and the four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
