DigitalLife Unveils New Design for Exhibit Floor

Leading consumer technology event will feature new themed zones

NEW YORK, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- DigitalLife, the leading consumer electronics and digital technology event, today revealed a redesign of its exhibit floor, enabling attendees to easily seek out the themes and new technologies that most complement their lives, interests and needs. Last year, more than 52,000 consumers converged at the show to interact with the latest technology products from more than 200 exhibitors. This year's DigitalLife will take place September 27-30th at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

DigitalLife will unveil five new "DL Lifestyle Zones", serving as destinations for consumers with specific product or service interests.

The Mobile Living Zone will amaze and educate attendees with hands-on demonstrations of the hottest mobile technology, from video to music to gaming in the Mobile Gaming Arcade.

The DigitalKids Zone will be home to this holiday's hottest tech-toys and kid-friendly gadgets, as well as a place for parents to learn how to balance the role technology plays in their children's lives.

The Safety and Security Zone will provide consumers with vital information regarding the latest products and services to combat identify theft, viruses, protect privacy, and keep families safe on and offline.

The Digital Memories Zone will showcase the latest innovations in digital photography and filmmaking, from storing and editing to posting and sharing to creating professional quality home movies and digital scrapbooks.

The Web 2.0 Zone will provide a glimpse into everything 2.0, from search to user-generated content, social shopping, online communities, tips and tools for tagging and tracking your favorite sites to the future of music and video in the Entertainment 2.0 Pavilion.

Complementing these special interest zones, DigitalLife will also feature activity hubs for every member of the family. The Casual Gaming Arcade will be the destination for gamers young and old, the Cosmo Lounge will provide a haven for women to check out new products created for their lifestyles, and a special Village at the show will recreate today's home, illustrating how the products at the show fit into day-to-day life.
