Justice Ball XI to Rock the Los Angeles Summer Night


Violent Femmes Headline Benefit for The House of Justice;
Record Turnout Exceeding 3,000 Anticipated

WHAT: The 11th annual Justice Ball, an open-air summer evening of live
music and other entertainment benefiting Bet Tzedek - The House
of Justice, one of Los Angeles' premier legal-aid organizations.

Expanded and relocated to a new venue this year, the event
perennially attracts a crowd of 3,000-plus Gen-X and Gen-Y
professionals and is listed among must-attend Los Angeles summer
events by lifestyle cognoscenti. In addition to the main stage
with live entertainment, Justice Ball XI will feature: a second
stage and dance club; VIP lounge and cabanas; casino
entertainment and karaoke lounge; and food and wine garden.

WHO: Violent Femmes, alternative-rock band best known for hits
including American Music, Add It Up, Blister in the Sun,
Gone Daddy Gone and I Held Her in My Arms, among numerous others.

WHEN: Saturday, July 28, 2007, 8:30 p.m. until 1 a.m.

WHERE: The Lot (formerly Warner Hollywood Studios), 1041 N.
Formosa Ave., West Hollywood.

WHY: Founded in 1974, Bet Tzedek's mission is to ensure "equal justice
for all." One of the nation's premier public-interest law firms,
Bet Tzedek, The House of Justice in Hebrew, provides free legal
services to low-income, disabled and elderly residents of
Los Angeles County. Each year, Bet Tzedek staff and volunteers
serve more than 10,000 clients of all racial and religious
backgrounds with critical legal needs, principally in the areas
of consumer fraud, housing issues, workplace matters, elder care
and Holocaust reparations.

Conceived in 1997, the Justice Ball is one of Bet Tzedek's
principal fund-raising events and, since inception, has raised
more than $3.5 million in support of vital Bet Tzedek programs.
The event also enables Bet Tzedek to reach out to thousands of
young lawyers and other professionals, more than 500 of whom
volunteer their services each year to The House of Justice's
clients.
