'Captivity' Premiere Party: Red Carpet Riot on Sunset Strip

Celebs, Suicide Girls and Cage Fighters Descend on Privilege Nightclub July 10

LOS ANGELES, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The second Tuesday of July will be a night to remember as After Dark Films hosts its hotly-anticipated premiere party for its film "Captivity" at the Privilege nightclub in West Hollywood on July 10.

"Captivity" tells the story of a beautiful model (Elisha Cuthbert) who is kidnapped and battles with her captors in a thrill ride of a movie directed by noted filmmaker Roland Joffee ("Killing Fields," "The Mission"). The film became a hot-button of controversy after explicit billboards touting the film's release were mistakenly placed in Los Angeles locations last March. The Motion Picture Association of America immediately blasted Courtney Solomon, the chief executive officer of After Dark Films, and suspended the film's release.

The film will now be released nationwide on Friday, July 13. In honor of the film's release, After Dark Films & RedLight Special Events are hosting a premiere party for "Captivity" at the world-famous Privilege nightclub, 8117 Sunset Bl., in West Hollywood on July 10. The party will run from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with red carpet arrivals at 9:00 p.m.
