Antonious Porch Named Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group for Digital Media

NEW YORK, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group has upped Antonious Porch to Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, within the Digital Media Group for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family. In this role, Mr. Porch oversees all business and legal affairs in connection with the creation and distribution of content across digital media platforms for Nickelodeon, Nicktoons Network, NOGGIN, The N, Neopets, ParentsConnect, GoCityKids, Quizilla, Shockwave and AddictingGames. Mr. Porch will continue to report to Andra Shapiro, Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group and MTVN Co-General Counsel.

As Senior Vice President, Mr. Porch is responsible for negotiating and structuring key deals for the acquisition, production and distribution of Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group brands' digital content including online, wireless, video, and games. He also facilitates publishing and distribution deals and talent agreements surrounding digital media. He will continue to provide counsel as it pertains to strategic rights and clearances for broadband programming including TurboNick and wireless programming including Nick Mobile. In addition, Mr. Porch designs compliance strategies on behalf of Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group for both the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) regulatory requirements such as privacy.
Since joining Nickelodeon in 2004 as a Senior Counsel, Mr. Porch has also held the title of Vice President. He managed Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group's acquisition of GoCityKids, an online city directory and resource for both visiting and local families. Mr. Porch has represented Nickelodeon in meetings with the FCC and FTC on various matters relating to children's digital media issues.
His career began at the law firms of Latham & Watkins and Morrison & Foerster. Mr. Porch is a graduate of Yale College and Columbia Law School where he was managing editor of the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law & The Arts.
