myPhotopipe.com Releases PRPrintPro Digital Photo Software for Professional Sports Organizations, Celebrities, TV Stations

ATLANTA, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- myPhotopipe.com, an online provider of digital photo processing, photo finishing, photo sharing, and related services for professional and serious amateur photographers, today announced the release of its PRPrintPro applet and digital photo toolset. PRPrintPro dramatically reduces the time it takes to create, personalize, and order photographic prints that are autographed by celebrities, professional athletes, and dignitaries.

"The key to our software is simplicity," stated Pete Casabonne, President of myPhotopipe.com, Inc. "For most photographers, publicists and media relations people, the process of making a talent, action or publicity print is far too complicated and laborious. An art department must typically get a logo from the PR department, secure copy from the writer and a photo from the photographer, and then put it all together. Too many chefs in the kitchen, too many data hand-off errors, too many headaches, too many man-hours wasted. PRPrintPro takes all that pain away. Select a photo. Select a template. Add a caption. Crop. Order. It's so simple, so easy, and you get a professional print on professional paper for a lot less than most people are spending now."

PRPrintPro is already being used by professional sports teams, celebrities, universities and other organizations. It combines six functions into a single Java applet - the functions of a design service, text editor, digital photo editor, online ordering system for digital photo prints, storage, and a reorder function, all within a password-protected folder. The applet service allows users to create, edit, crop, order and retain for reorder personalized photographic prints, and do it all in a matter of minutes.

"In today's world, no one has enough time," noted Casabonne. "Our PRPrintPro applet lets you quickly and professionally create a print that has beautiful colors in a well designed layout with a beautiful logo. You're proud to sign this print."

myPhotopipe.com developed the first version of PRPrintPro to solve a problem for the Department of Homeland Security. "DHS wanted a professional print with its department seal on it and its specific colors, but the department also wanted an interactive photo hole and a way to caption the photo," observed Eric Casolo, Director of Digital Photo Tools at myPhotopipe.com. "That required some thinking, some work with code, and some modifications of software platforms, but we liked what we presented to the DHS, which liked it even more, and this gave birth to PRPrintPro."

In Beta testing, myPhotopipe.com discovered that order quantities were significantly higher than forecast, which impacted the pricing model. "We thought this product would result in a $1.89 print," added Casolo, "but in fact we are delivering professional 8x10s on Fuji Crystal Archive in larger quantities for as little as $0.69 each."

"Our customers love the system and they totally understand how powerful an autographed print can be to brand awareness. A consumer is bombarded by thousands of commercial messages every day, so they are filtering everything, but autographed prints - think about it; they cut through the clutter. An autographed print ends up on a refrigerator door, in the college dorm, on the credenza in an office. That's exactly where you want your brand to be and it's what PRPrintPro and myPhotopipe.com are all about. We professionalize everything. We simplify everything. We take 'real' costs out of the print and hidden labor costs out of the process. For less than most people pay for a Google-click, you're in someone's home and staying there. The print has your logo. Your colors. The name of your celebrity is spelled right. The photo is perfectly cropped. The colors are right. The front office is happy. The player is happy. And you're reaching your audience in a way a TV commercial cannot duplicate," concluded Casolo.
