Michael Moore to Host New Hampshire Town Hall Friday With Undecided Voters on Healthcare Reform Debate
Nurses, Doctors Join Special Screening of 'SiCKO' as Campaign Grows for
Comprehensive Reform
Filmmaker Michael Moore will present his riveting new documentary, "SiCKO," about the nation's escalating healthcare crisis to a group of undecided voters in Manchester, N.H. Friday, joined by nurses and doctors from New Hampshire, across New England, and other states who are campaigning to step up the pressure for genuine healthcare reform.
Moore will first show the voters a special screening of the film, and then host a town hall meeting about the 2008 presidential campaign and how to fix the nation's growing nightmare that has left tens of millions of Americans struggling to obtain needed medical care or struggling with unpayable medical debt. A panel of registered nurses and doctors will join Moore at the discussion.

In addition to the screening and town hall meeting, nurses and doctors, who are calling for enactment of comprehensive reforms such as HR 676 which would provide genuine universal coverage that ends insurance industry interference with medical care, will host several special activities, details to be announced. In a press conference in Congress on Wednesday, Moore urged Congress to pass HR 676.
From coast to coast, nurses in "Scrubs for SiCKO," doctors, and health activists are recruiting thousands of people to attend the June 29 national opening showings of "SiCKO" to step up the campaign to end the abuses depicted in the landmark film and join the drive for HR 676.
