ImpreMedia Appoints Ricardo Venegas as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President

NEW YORK, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- ImpreMedia Chairman and CEO John Paton announced today the appointment of Ricardo Venegas as the company's Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President effective June 30, 2007.

"We are very pleased Ricardo has joined our executive team at ImpreMedia. Ricardo brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned financial executive in the media industry. He is well known to both the financial and media communities. His strong financial skills and media industry experience will be key in building our future success at ImpreMedia," Mr. Paton said.

Prior to joining ImpreMedia, Mr. Venegas served as Treasurer of the Journal Register Company, a publicly traded media company with 22 daily newspapers, 345 non-daily publications and more than 225 websites from 2004 to 2007. Mr. Venegas was Treasurer at RCN Corporation, a publicly traded provider of bundled phone, cable and high speed Internet services. Mr. Venegas was with RCN Corporation and its predecessors in a series of positions of increasing responsibility from 1994 to 2004.

Mr. Venegas will become Chief Financial Officer upon the resignation of Steven Greenberg. Mr. Greenberg, who was previously a partner at Clarity Partners, one of ImpreMedia's founding investors, has worked with the company since its inception in 2002. He is leaving ImpreMedia to return to private equity.

"Steve Greenberg has played an invaluable role in the creation and the building of our company from an idea in 2002 into the number one Spanish language news and online publisher today," Mr. Paton said. "He very early on saw the investment opportunity in Hispanic print and online and worked tirelessly to maximize that opportunity through our seven acquisitions and through organic growth. His energy and enthusiasm will be missed and we wish him well in his next endeavors."
