Device Loads CDs onto an Apple iPod Without a Computer

CAMPBELL, Calif., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Wingspan Investment Partners today announced that manufacturing of iLoad(TM), a device that transfers music CDs to an Apple iPod without using a computer, has moved from China to the U.S. The iLoad product is now being assembled in Wingspan's facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

iLoad uploads whole albums or the songs of the user's choice as well as the album and track information directly to the iPod without a PC, iTunes or Internet connection. Users simply plug their iPod into the unit, insert a CD, and press the GO button. Copying speed is typically eight minutes per CD, or five times faster than the CD playing time, roughly the same as the average PC transfer without the extra step of moving the music to a computer.

iLoad can also delete music from an iPod by title or by category such as "least listened to" or "oldest added;" transfer music from one iPod to another; and create iPod backups on an external USB hard or flash disk to save PC disk space as well as protect the user's digital music library against hard drive failure or virus attacks.
