Raven Moon to Produce 'Let's Get Fit With Gina D' Public Service Message (PSA) for Television Stations Across America

ORLANDO, Fla., April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: RVME) announced today that it will produce a new animated public service message (PSA) called "Let's Get Fit with Gina D."

The new animated fitness message will be produced by Emmy Award winning executive producers Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco and directed by Michael Gibilisco of MG Studios home of GINA D'S KIDS CLUB.

Gina D who is an advocate for fitness and good nutrition practices what she preaches by exercising daily, eating properly and taking food supplements that provide whole food fruits and vegetables.

"This PSA will contain an important message by a real role model who cares for kids getting the wrong message from animated characters on television and in the movies that too often leads to obesity and poor health," stated Joey DiFrancesco CEO of Raven Moon Entertainment. "We also are planning to release a special DVD called 'Let's Get Fit with Gina D' that can be purchased by parents and grandparents interested in giving their children a G-Rated product that can improve their lives.

"We live in a society where $33 billion dollars per year is pumped into advertising unhealthy processed foods, fast foods and junk foods -- and a large percentage of that advertising is aimed right at your kids -- and it works. The processed food industry has successfully changed what we consider to be 'normal' in terms what we eat and what we feed our children. The processed food, junk food, and fast food industries are serving it up, Americans are gulping it down, and wide spread obesity and chronic disease is the result. Although obesity in children once was rare, it is now one of the most widespread medical problems in the United States and other developed countries. About 15% of adolescents (aged 12-19 years) and children (aged 6-11 years) are obese in the United States according to the American Obesity Association. The numbers are expected to continue increasing. Childhood obesity is one of our greatest health challenges," stated DiFrancesco
