WEST MIFFLIN, Pa., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Kennywood officials unveiled Saturday evening, to a crowd of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), exciting technological innovations for 2007 -- both live* and virtual**:

KTV - K-Clips - K-Tube - RingTones - Podcasts!

Kennywood Entertainment Marketing Director Keith Hood shares, I don't know when I've had so much fun doing "work". It's been a kick brainstorming with CarneyFireman and MPTV to create these innovations and see them come to life! I believe our guests, and others, will feel the same.

*LIVE -- All three of Kennywood Entertainment's Western PA parks will, in essence, have their own internal and interactive television station, dubbed KTV. Digital Signage on large LCD screens throughout the parks will display informative messages, up to the minute park news, entertainment and behind the scenes videos. In addition, the new wireless system will offer the ability for park guests to interact with quizzes, polls and contests by sending responses via text messaging. The results are instantaneous and will be displayed immediately on the system.

**VIRTUAL -- In addition to Sandcastle and Idlewild's new and exciting websites, www.sandcastlewaterpark.com and www.idlewild.com, Kennywood's website adds even more state-of-the-art fun. A new on-line editor, K-Clips, will be available for multi-media and park enthusiasts everywhere to create a Kennywood commercial. Everything necessary (video clips, music, graphics, sound effects, and text) is included. K-Clips is now in the testing stage for its public debut at Kennywood's Education Day, May 4. K-Tube will also be available to teachers on May 4, and shortly thereafter to the general public. K-Tube will allow anyone to upload his or her own videos to Kennywood's Website.

Free RingTones are available at www.kennywood.com. Jim DiSpirito, CarneyFireman multimedia designer, crafted all RingTones with actual Kennywood sounds.

Also available is a sample of what's to come. A pilot Podcast is found at www.kennywood.com. The actual RSS series will begin in April.
