Hollywood Celebrity Comes To Town

EMERYVILLE, Calif., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Famous for his roles in "Secondhand Lions", "Monster House", and Disney's "Hannah Montana", Mitchel Musso is one of Hollywood's most successful kids and he is coming to the Bay Area to speak to local youngsters about pursuing their dreams. The event is sponsored by My Artist's Place, a local resource company for youth and young adults interested in the entertainment industry. The Celebrity Event will be held at The Shops at Tanforan Mall in San Bruno from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 10, 2007. Marcus Osborne and the Groove Crew of 98.1 Kiss FM will spice it up by hosting the event. Along with hearing Mitchel speak, attendees will participate in fun activities, win free prizes, and get autographed photos of Musso. They will also have the opportunity to become a TV star just like Mitchel. Everyone present at the event will be able to screen test for a chance to star on two new TV sit-coms: "Kids Unlimited" and "Say What?".

Though Musso has only been acting for six years, he has managed to achieve an astounding level of success, receiving thousands upon thousands of fan mail every week and inspiring even more. According Erik DeSando, President of My Artist's Place and owner of an L.A. based talent agency, "It's important for our kids to have dreams in order to foster creativity and imagination. We bring in celebrities, because, apart from being a fun experience, it helps our kids realize that the human spirit is only limited by our imaginations. We are excited about this event because "Hannah Montana" is such a huge show it is guaranteed to be a lot of fun for the whole family."

Mitchel Musso grew up in Garland, Texas with his parents and two brothers, Marc and Mason. His big breakthrough came when he landed a part playing alongside Robert Duval and Michael Cane in "Second Hand Lions". Since then, Mitchel's acting career has sky-rocketed. Among his credits are "Oliver Beene", "Stacked", "Walker Texas Ranger", "King of the Hill", "Monster House", and "Avatar". Currently, Mitchel stars on Disney's newest hit series, "Hannah Montana" as Oliver "Smoken" Oken.

In addition to sponsoring the Celebrity Event, My Artist's Place is beginning production on two new TV sit-coms to broadcast on cable TV.
