AT&T's MEdia Net NCAA March Madness Portal to Feature Video Highlights of Most Memorable Plays in NCAA Tournament History

Wireless Portal Is Also the Exclusive Wireless Home of CBS Sports Video Highlights From Each Round of the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship

ATLANTA, March 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced that college basketball fans will have the opportunity to relive the greatest plays from the NCAA Tournament's storied history -- as well as instant classics from this year's Big Dance -- all on their wireless handset. Fans can also participate in Mash-Up Madness by creating online college basketball videos of their favorite teams and enter for the chance to win prizes at http://attblueroom.com/sports .

For the second straight year, the excitement of NCAA March Madness(R) will be live on AT&T's MEdia(TM) Net NCAA(R) March Madness(R) Portal. The portal will feature exclusive CBS Sports video highlights from each round of the tournament, scoring updates and comprehensive tournament bracket management that is unavailable from any other wireless carrier.

AT&T, an official NCAA Corporate Champion, is the exclusive wireless provider of NCAA Tournament video highlights. AT&T customers with 3G-capable phones in select markets will be able to choose from a full archive of buzzer beaters, slam dunks and record-breaking moments from CBS Sports' 25 years of televising the NCAA Tournament. Who can forget Bryce Drew's last-second three- pointer to beat Ole Miss in the 1998 tournament? What about Christian Laettner's improbable turnaround jumper to beat Kentucky in 1992? These, along with 23 other defining moments, will be accessible on the portal throughout the NCAA Tournament.

AT&T customers will also be able to view action-packed video highlights from this year's NCAA Tournament branded as AT&T AT THE HALF(R) from CBS Sports, the exclusive network broadcaster of the 2007 NCAA(R) Division I Men's Basketball Championship, including the Men's Final Four(R). From the opening round all the way through the national championship game, two-minute video clips covering all 64 games will be packaged and delivered to AT&T customers' handsets twice a day during each day of the tournament.

The AT&T MEdia Net NCAA March Madness Portal will also feature in-depth information, such as top tournament news stories, scoring updates and individual team-tracking capabilities for all 65 teams. Back again is the Cingular Bracket Challenge!, which will give wireless users the power to make, track and manage their tournament bracket from their wireless handset. Customers participating in the Bracket Challenge! will compete against each other for a chance to win $10,000. Participants whose favorite teams are eliminated in the first and second rounds of the tournament can still be a part of the action by competing in the Sweet 16 Challenge for the opportunity to win one of 10 new handsets and $100. Fans who fill out brackets on CBS Sportsline.com can receive game updates and score-tracking for their leagues with regular text-message alerts throughout each round of the NCAA Tournament.

"The AT&T MEdia Net NCAA March Madness Portal will deliver all of the excitement of the NCAA Tournament directly to our customers' handsets, ensuring that they never miss a moment of the action," said David Garver, executive director of high-growth segments and sponsorships for AT&T's wireless unit. "We are excited to use our official sponsorship of the NCAA to provide content to college basketball fans that they can't get anywhere else.

Customers can access the AT&T MEdia Net NCAA March Madness Portal on their wireless handset by launching the MEdia Net option and then visiting the main Sports home page.
