Starz Entertainment Names McGee Senior Vice President, Marketing

Former Adelphia, AT&T Broadband Exec Charged With Developing Starz Brand

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment President and Chief Operating Officer Bill Myers today announced the appointment of cable industry marketing executive Nancy A. McGee as senior vice president of marketing for the premium television company.

McGee held the post of senior vice president of marketing and sales for Adelphia Communications from August 2004 to August 2006, when Adelphia was sold to Time Warner Cable and Comcast Cable. Prior to joining Adelphia, McGee held senior marketing positions with leading cable companies AT&T Broadband and MediaOne. She began her career with US West where she held several different posts, including director of field marketing and customer care and director of new product development.

"I will look to her to develop the overall Starz brand, building on her experience as a cable operator and branching out to embrace our new initiatives in the online, high definition and original programming arenas. A long time Denver resident, she received her undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Denver, and also completed an Executive Marketing Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. She has served on the board of directors of Women in Cable & Telecommunications and was a 2006 inductee into the Rocky Mountain WICT Walk of Fame.
