MyTV20 Detroit Responds to Announcement of New Tigers Broadcast Contract

DETROIT, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Sarah Norat-Phillips, president and general manager of MyTV20 Detroit, released the following statement in response to FSN/Fox 2 obtaining broadcast rights to this year's Tigers baseball games, which had previously been broadcast on MyTV20 Detroit:

"TV20 was proud to be the broadcast station that brought over-the-air Tigers games back to Detroit baseball fans last year. When we approach every business deal we try to identify goals that will benefit all parties involved. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, a mutually beneficial deal could not be reached for the 2007 season. However, we wish both the Tigers and Detroit baseball fans nothing but success this year.
