MLB.com Offers Free Pool Feed to All Broadcasters of Today's 2007 Hall of Fame Class Announcement Show
NEW YORK, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, today announced that the Baseball Writers' Association of America 2007 Hall of Fame class will be revealed in a live video webcast beginning at 1 p.m. ET today, on MLB.com's BaseballChannel.TV. The 2007 inductees, which are expected to be led by Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn, will be announced at 2 p.m.
MLB.com will be making a pool feed free to all broadcasters in exchange for on screen credit should a broadcaster plan to air. This content is not to be used in any form online without the expressed written consent of MLB.com.

Baseball fans around the world with broadband connections can watch as Hall of Fame President Dale Petroskey makes the announcement, part of a free 2-hour live video show on MLB.com's BaseballChannel.TV that will include video highlights of the leading candidates and interviews with new inductees. The same live programming will be simulcast on MLB.com Radio.
Former Major Leaguer Billy Sample and MLB.com host Casey Stern will be the co-hosts of the MLB.com announcement broadcast.
