'Overnight Sensational' Sam Moore's duet with Fantasia, BLAME IT ON THE RAIN, debuted on AMERICAN IDOL January 17th
NEW YORK, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grammy nominated legend Sam Moore was flying home last night after taping "Emeril Live" the day before in New York City and missed seeing and hearing his song duet with Fantasia, BLAME IT ON THE RAIN, featured on Wednesday night's AMERICAN IDOL episode emanating from Seattle.

Upon landing, Sam learned his producer, and famous IDOL judge, Randy Jackson, also missed seeing the episode because he was in the studio producing Travis Tritt's new album. Both men are waiting for their copy of the show.
"Overnight Sensational," Moore's first solo album in years, produced entirely by Jackson, has received worldwide critical acclaim. In addition to Fantasia, the album also includes guest appearances by Tritt and other Sam fans, Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting, Vince Gil and Mariah Carey, to name a few.
The song "You Are So Beautiful" has now garnered Moore and guests Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph and Zuccherro a Grammy nomination. Moore's last Grammy win was for "Soul Man," 40 years ago in 1967. Preston wrote Beautiful in the 70's, and gave his final performance on Sam's album.
Overnight Sensational can be purchased wherever music is sold.
