From Tragedy One Mother Launches a Global Preschool Television Series and A Wumbler is Born

FORT LEE, N.J., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In the age of increasing multiple births one woman gives life to an entire town. Welcome to The Wumblers, a preschool television series created by Laura Wellington in the wake of personal and world tragedy.

The death of Wellington's husband from two forms of cancer in combination with the events of 9-11 gave her the inspiration to create a globally, socially and spiritually conscious form of family entertainment. The series will begin airing in the Fall of 2007 on Trinity Broadcasting and Smile of A Child Networks see www.wumblers.com

"Despite the suffering surrounding us, I began to re-build our lives, which led me down the path towards making the world a better place for all. As God had cared for me, The Wumblers would now do the same for every one of his children," per Wellington an ex preschool teacher and mother of four.

In making a new home for her family, The Wumblers found a home of their own in children's entertainment. In order to launch the series Wellington co-founded The Giddy Gander Company. Ironically, TBN's Director of Programming called Wellington on her 40th birthday to initiate the partnership. The signing of the final contract landed upon her late husband's 45th birthday.
