Upcoming digital originals include:
"SPIKE's Hottest Bartenders: On the heels of the successful New York City-based show, SPIKETV.COM is taking this show on the road and expanding to three new cities this year. The series follows SPIKETV.COM searching for the wildest bars, with the sickest drinks. Cocktails made by the eye candy who just might make us drink until we tip over and over tip the whole time.
"Miss March Madness" (working title): In advance of NCAA March Madness, SPIKETV.COM has created an online bracket competition where smokin' hot girls (co-eds or cheerleaders) from colleges and states across the country compete in the hottest co-ed head-to-head competition.
"FMX Prague": Seven of the top freestyle motocross stars in the world will invade the world famous Sazka Arena for non-stop action and big air. This series takes place in Prague, the medieval city and capital of the Czech Republic, and is bound to become one of freestyle motocross' most talked about events.
"The Player": This series will follow the players as they compete in a stadium designed like an ancient Roman gladiator arena. The best of the sport go head-to-head on an epic field of battle! Lights, fire, dancers and driving music lend tension to this insane scene. Mike Mason, Jake Oldham, Andy Bell, Dustin Miller, Reagan Sieg and others give the Europeans a time to remember.
"The Show": As fireworks pop off, so do the best freestyle motocross stars in the world! Pulling out tricks to rival the wild setting, the stars of motocross compete before thousands of rabid European fans to win their affection and claim the title of "modern day metal warrior." When it's all over, follow these warriors back for an after-party worthy of gladiators! It is a wild frenzy of metal and chaos as these guys prove they can wow people on bikes and party with the best of them.
"Burning at the Thunderdome:" The Death Guild, a motley crew of Silicon Valley misfits, build, run and maintain the Thunderdome at the Annual Burning Man Festival in Nevada. Members will enter the outdoor arena, attached to bungee cords, with heavy padded pipes and battle it out until only one is left standing. "Two men enter -- one man leaves."
"Buddy's Garage:" Building off the hard pounding demolition action of spiketv.com's "Rattlesnake Raceway," "Buddy's Garage" is the perfect continuation for the Web site's target demographic. The accessibility and detail of such a show is laid out right before viewers' eyes. Fans will be treated to the hard-hitting annihilation of Demo action, when metal scrapes metal and the behind-the-scenes action back at the ranch house garage as Buddy and his team gut and build their distinctive brand of demolition cars. Most important, we have Buddy himself, a guy like you and me, has the balls to set himself apart from the rest with glint of mischievous madness in his eyes.
"Gathering of the Pack:" This series is a graphical portrayal of Full Contact Stick fighting from the Dog Brother's "System of many Styles" that features a combination of Filipino Martial Arts and other fighting skills. The Dog Brother's credo is "Higher consciousness through harder contact."
CURRENTLY ON SPIKE TV.COM:
"Rattlesnake Raceway:" A show about a group of everyday men who become local heroes on a dirt racetrack 100 miles outside of Reno, Nevada. For the love or racing and for the thrill of the chase, they risk everything to bring home the checkered flag.
"Enduro at Erzberg:" Imagine taking America's most popular motocross riders and dropping them into Europe's largest copper mine in central Austria. Chaos, fear, adrenaline and the will to survive will drive viewers through 35 kilometers of rugged and hazardous trial-based motorcycling. Travis Pastrana, Jeremy McGrath, Ronnie Renner, Andy Bell and Gregg Godfrey battle the odds and each other in the ultimate test of motorcycle fitness.
