MobiTV Integrates Joint Venture's Mobile Video Services

INTERNATIONAL CES (Sands #71213), LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- MobiTV, Inc., the global leader in mobile and broadband television and music services, today announced that the latest version of its mobile television service and platform was chosen by Sprint to extend the Sprint-Cable Companies Joint Venture video services to mobile handsets.

The video aspect of the Joint Venture service includes:

-- Ability to purchase and view premium channels from within the application

-- Support for the ability to browse the information in cable television electronic program guide that displays customized listings based on the consumer zip code and cable channel line-up

-- Operator-specific application look and feel among tailored channel line-ups
