LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The national television broadcast "The Eyes of Christmas," the new recording for the blind and vision impaired, began on December 16th on NBC with the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" and was audio described in TheatreVision(TM) by Former President George Herbert Walker Bush. This year's broadcast will repeat the eye test and will present 100 celebrities with their memories of Christmas, along with a presentation of famous Charles Dickens' "Scrooge" described by Mario Machado. "The Eyes of Christmas" broadcast will begin airing on KCOP UPN-13, Los Angeles, on Christmas Day 2006 at 2:00-4:00am pacific, and will also be carried by cable and satellite to 80 million homes throughout the country on DIRECTV, Dish Network and ION Media Networks/PAX Cable affiliates.

Audio Greeting cards will be presented by 100 celebrities, top stars such as: Alec Baldwin, Oliver Stone, Natalie Cole, and Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon, as they share their fondest memories of Christmas past. The program whose motto is "No Child Left Behind," is a CD and television special to be distributed to eighty million households as part of the holiday help for blindness through audio description for sightless eyes.
