Time Warner Cable North Texas aims to help make the Season Bright and Musical

IRVING, Texas -- Bask in the warm glow of a video fireplace on Time Warner Cable this holiday season with three days of non-stop burning Yule logs on digital cable channel 960 and seasonal music channels. The fiery tradition is accompanied by Christmas music and runs commercial free from Saturday December 23rd through Christmas day.

"The Time Warner Cable Yule log is the one to watch this year and it's easier to start - no kindling, no matches, all you need is your digital cable remote control," said Gary Underwood, Director of Communications for Time Warner Cable North Texas.

For fire-phobic music lovers, there's good news, because this season there are more holiday tune choices on Time Warner Cable. Through Music Choice(R), Time Warner Cable is providing two commercial-free digital channels of holiday music for digital cable customers. Channel 850 features Traditional Christmas music and Channel 890 - Sounds of the Seasons includes a variety of contemporary holiday music. Music Choice(R) Sounds of the Seasons is available year round with music programming for such holidays as St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, and Fourth of July.
