Target Offers Exclusive All Hip-Hop Compilation for Kids of All Ages

Lil' Jams CD now available online and in stores nationwide

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Hip-hop music's most memorable year might just be 2006: the Smithsonian National Museum of American History hip- hop exhibit opened; Jay-Z came out of retirement; and today Target introduces Lil' Jams -- an exclusive all hip-hop and R&B compact disc (CD) with song lyrics performed by kids for kids of all ages. The album provides a fun, fresh alternative to parents who are looking for interactive music both they and their kids can enjoy.

This unique disc offers renditions of some of the most popular hip-hop and rap cuts from the '90s through today, sung exclusively by kids for kids. Tracks featured on the album include covers of hit songs such as: "Jump," originally performed by Kriss Kross; "Crazy," originally performed by Gnarls Barkley; "So Sick," originally performed by Ne-Yo; "Kick Push," originally performed by Lupe Fiasco; "Christmas in Hollis," originally performed by Run DMC; "Playground," originally performed by Another Bad Creation; and "Lonely," originally performed by Akon, among other classic and current hits. In addition, an exclusive bonus track written and produced by Gnarls Barkley rapper Cee-Lo Green's daughter, Sierra Somone, is also included.
