NEW YORK, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- PR.com published an interview with Brooke Hogan to commemorate the release of her debut album, "Undiscovered." Brooke, known as the daughter of wrestling great, Hulk Hogan, and centerpiece of VH1's reality show, "Hogan Knows Best," is now making a name for herself in the music world with her new album due out October 24, 2006.
Some notable quotes from this interview:
"L.A. and New York I feel like are kind of getting washed up, in the music part. New York I think is more for the modeling and fashion and publicity and stuff ... it's great for that. L.A. is good for, more like, rock music. Certain places have different things. Like Atlanta and Miami do all the hip hop stuff."
"It's really hard to be a teenager and then throwing the music business on top of it, I can see how some of these teenagers get really messed up ... some of these child stars that just get really messed up in the head and get really jaded. Thank god I have my parents behind me all the way and I have been raised in this business, so it's kind of like second nature to me."
"When I turned eighteen, [Hulk Hogan] was like, 'You know what Brooke, I want you to know that I am a human being and I'm a real person and I want you to go out on dates and stuff. I don't want to keep you sheltered your whole life.' He's like, 'Now that you're eighteen, you can come and go as you please. I believe that I raised you the right way, and you can do whatever you want now.' I kind of looked at him like, 'What?!' I was kind of like a deer in the headlights. I didn't know what to say."
"[Aaron Carter] tried to date me and my dad kind of saw right through him and he was like, 'No dude. You are definitely not hanging out here.' But Aaron's a really cool kid. Aaron's really, really nice and he's a really cool guy ... we met at an airport and we started hanging out and stuff, and when he came over to my house, my dad was like, 'Absolutely not!'"
