Seven Out of Ten Heterosexuals Today Know Someone Gay
Seven out of ten heterosexual adults in the United States say that they know someone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. More than half of those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender say that concern about being the victim of a hate crime would be a reason for a person to not come out. Other concerns that G-L-B-T adults cite about why a person might not come out include rejection by their families, rejection by their friends and losing their jobs. Fully, 83 percent of those who self-identify as gay or lesbian consider themselves out. In general, when all G-L-B-T respondents were asked if they considered themselves open about their sexual orientation, large majorities of them said they are out to their close friends and to their parents. These are the results of a survey conducted by Harris Interactive.

Survey of Nation's Top Divorce Lawyers Reveals Surge In Prenuptial Agreements
An overwhelming 80 percent of divorce attorneys cited an increase in prenuptial agreements during the past five years in a recent poll of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyer members. In addition, 65 percent of those surveyed answered that prenuptial agreements are most often sought by men and women in the age range of 40-60 years old, revealing that people in the Baby Boomer generation are currently the most likely to request the contracts.
