10th Anniversary MMRF Friends for Life Fall Gala

Background on the Gala: Founded by twin sisters, Kathy Giusti and Karen Andrews, after Kathy was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, the MMRF Friends for Life Fall Gala celebrates its 10th year having raised $10 million dollars to date through these events alone with 95% of funds applied directly to support the world's most promising myeloma research. A black-tie affair that includes a live and silent auction, more than 800 guests are expected to attend.

Background on the MMRF: The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation's (MMRF) mission is to invest in research that will lead to a cure for Multiple Myeloma, a disease that affects 50,000 patients. The organization is considered the world's premier supporter of myeloma-specific research and related activities. To date, the MMRF has raised more than $60 million to fund 51 laboratories worldwide.
