Fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards Winners Announced

Awards Honor Best in Horror-Themed Cinema, Music and Television

Televised Event Will Premiere Exclusively on fuse Sunday, October 22nd at 10pm ET

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The winners were announced last night as Jamie Kennedy hosted the first ever televised "fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards" from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The night's festivities were kicked off by masked rockers Slipknot and a chainsaw-wielding Leatherface who presented the honor for "Most Thrilling Killing (Best Death Scene)" to SAW II's Emmanuelle Vaugier. The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony Kiedis accepted the "Killer Video" award for "Dani California," while musician turned director, Rob Zombie walked away with "Killer Movie" for THE DEVIL'S REJECTS.

THE HILLS HAVE EYES was the big winner of the evening in the movie categories, earning accolades for "Looks That Kill (Best Makeup)" and "Bloodiest Beatdown." Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick of THE OMEN was honored as horror's "Creepiest Kid," while Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars got the nod for "Prince of Darkness (Darkest Male in a Music Video)." "Masters of Horror" picked up the "Killer Television Award."

30 Seconds to Mars, Chingy and Avenged Sevenfold all performed live during the two-hour event. Award presenters included Robert "Freddy Kruger" Englund, Avril Lavigne, Jada Pinkett Smith and her band Wicked Wisdom, KORN's Jonathan Davis, Linkin Park, Sum 41, Fall Out Boy, Samaire Armstrong, Brande Roderick, Regina Hall, and "The Girls Next Door."

The fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards will premiere Sunday, October 22 on fuse, with a half-hour black carpet Dead on Arrival pre-show at 9:30 PM (ET), followed by the two-hour long awards show at 10 PM (ET).
