Event Offers the Public an Opportunity to Discuss Media's Treatment of People of Color
WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Communications Commissioners Jonathan Adelstein and Michael Copps will attend a town hall meeting/public hearing in New York City on Oct. 19 to take part in a discussion on diversity in the broadcast industry.

The FCC commissioners will hear from the public and a panel of experts their views on how television and radio stations serve the news and informational needs of people of color. The meeting will also focus on the impact of media consolidation on communities of color.
