Award-Winning Artists and Speakers Slated for Crystal Serenity's 2007 World Cruise

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Befitting the grandeur of the World Cruise, Crystal Cruises has set a roster of award-winning entertainers to join Crystal Serenity's 12th annual 2007 World Cruise, beginning January 12. Departing for the first time from Miami and concluding in London's port of Southampton, the luxury ship will feature Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Neil Sedaka, Olympic gold medalists Dorothy Hamill and Mitch Gaylord, the winningest coach in NFL history Don Shula, Emmy Award-winning actress Doris Roberts and Emmy Award-winning sports commentator Frank Deford, and James Beard Award-winning chef Guillermo Pernot. Also scheduled are best- selling authors, including business consultant Ken Blanchard, former press secretary Marlin Fitzwater, medical expert Dr. Art Ulene, biographer Chris Ogden, psychologist Fred Chernow and NBC Military Analyst General Bernard Trainor.

Explorers, geographers, historians, political experts, and scholars will be aboard to share their insights on South America, Antarctica, South Africa and the Middle East as Crystal Serenity travels to these and other destinations around the world. Complementing the well-known figures are less familiar adventurers, such as writer/photographer Hallam Murray, who will tell tale of his 17,000-mile bicycle journey from Los Angeles to Tierra del Fuego and living amongst Chile's Mapuche Indians. More than 200 inspired artists and experts will enrich guests' experience as Crystal Serenity travels on its 109-day odyssey exploring 44 ports of call in 27 countries.

The World Cruise will also host world-renowned guest chefs, wine experts and nutritionists, including Native American Chef Loretta Barrett Oden, Guillermo Pernot of Philadelphia's ¡Pasion!, television food journalist and registered dietician Carolyn O'Neill and Craig Higgins, executive chef of the acclaimed Mombo Camp Resort in Botswana, Africa.

"Each year, we design an unparalleled entertainment and enrichment program to complement the ultimate travel experience of a World Cruise," says Bret Bullock, Crystal's vice president, entertainment.

A return to Israel, Carnaval in Rio, three days cruising Antarctica, three days in Dubai and Cape Town, and multiple African safari options are among the rare travel opportunities distinguishing the voyage. Fares for the full World Cruise start at $47,290 per person/double occupancy. The World Cruise is also available in seven segments with fares starting at $5,185 per person/double occupancy.

In addition to the rich entertainment and enrichment programming on board, Crystal Cruises' World Cruise offers extensive Crystal Adventures ashore.
