BACKGROUND: Broadband connections to information, music, video and other media have the power to change lives and alter Internet experiences. Verizon's "Richer, Deeper, Broader" campaign and Web site showcase that impact. One feature is the Web's first-ever online human beatbox mixer, where users access scores of digitally recorded "beats" and combine them into their personal three-track audio and video mix. The mix can be stored for future replays and remixes and shared with friends. The site, www.richerdeeperbroader.com, was created by innovative agency R/GA for Verizon. The mixer was created with the help of five leading beatboxers including Rahzel of The Roots and female beatboxer Butterscotch.
