(NASDAQ:THQI) today announced the release of the Monster House(TM) video game for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo GameCube(TM), GameBoy(R) Advance and Nintendo DS(TM). The game is based on the upcoming Monster House film by award winning producers Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis, and director Gil Kenan, and is scheduled for theatrical release in North America on July 21.

Monster House is directed by Gil Kenan, the UCLA Spotlight Award-winning director of the live-action/animation short The Lark. The film is written by Dan Harmon & Rob Schrab and Pamela Pettler. The digital animation is by Sony Pictures Imageworks.
