SEATTLE, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- remerinc has created a new spot highlighting both ESPN and KFC that will break this week on ESPN and ESPN2. The spot was created to introduce "Most Valuable Parents", a promotion by KFC -- an official sponsor of ESPN's telecast of the Little League World Series.
In the spot, which will run in both :30 and :15 versions, three humorous vignettes show parents giving their all in support of their kids' youth baseball teams. At the end of each vignette, the action freezes and the parent appears in their own baseball card -- a sign of their outstanding "performance."
"Our notion was that 'Most Valuable Parents' are heroes not because they possess super-human talents, but rather because they can be counted on to support their kids and teams, game in and game out," said remerinc Associate Creative Director, Chris Harwood. "We used humor to make that point, showing what parents will go through to make the games happen."
