American Zeitgeist, War on Terror Documentary, NYC Premiere and DVD Release on June 15

NEW YORK, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- American Zeitgeist: Crisis & Conscience in an Age of Terror takes a critical look at the history of the War on Terrorism. The film places the intended and unintended consequences of America's actions into sharp relief, with a balanced narrative that captures the cultural and political "spirit of the times." Rob McGann, Director and Producer, creates a film that presents a lively discussion about the underlying fractures of this conflict and the rise of Al Qaeda.

The film recently earned critical acclaim by winning the top award in the documentary feature category at the Houston International Film Festival. Interviews with over 35 best-selling authors, academics, journalists, intelligence officials and policy strategists provide a dynamic look into how this struggle has evolved over time. The documentary layers dramatic footage, including never-before-seen Al Qaeda propaganda videos, into an original score by Ravi Krishnaswami, featuring the voices of Yungchen Lhamo and Dennis Brennan.

The NYC premiere on June 15 promises to be epic. The screening will be immediately followed by a live debate between Christopher Hitchens, author and columnist for Slate and Vanity Fair, and Eric Margolis, an award-winning author and foreign correspondent.
