Members Have Been Uploading Video Content From Mobile Devices Since January 2006

SAN DIEGO, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- vMix, a global consumer media creation and sharing Web community, today announced that vMix members have uploaded videos and photos from their mobile devices to the vMix Web site since January 2006. To date, more than 10,000 videos and slide shows have been created by vMix members. Unlike other consumer-generated video Web sites, vMix is dedicated to providing an accessible venue with creative tools that enable vMix members to easily create, edit and share original content with the vMix audience.

"Each month, our members are uploading thousands of pieces of content captured using mobile devices to the vMix Web community," said Greg Kostello, CEO and founder of vMix Media. "By being ahead of the curve as emerging technologies come to market, vMix is the pioneer of developing tools and capabilities that empower members to digitally express themselves in a fast, free and seamless way."

Using mobile phones and personal digital assistants from wireless network providers such as Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, vMix members are sharing their life experiences and creativity with the online community by capturing life's moments in real-time and while on-the-go. vMix members can deliver mobile content directly to their profile page on the vMix Web site. In addition, vMix has media relationships with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in which vMix members can integrate branded content from hit movies and shows such as "Walk the Line," "American Dad" and "Napoleon Dynamite." vMix also lets members mix music into slide shows and video from a collection of more than 6,000 licensed music tracks from Indie artists such as The Hooters, Willie Nile and Shanice.

Existing and new vMix members can start uploading mobile content to their profile page on www.vmix.com. All that is required is a vMix member account and a mobile device that captures video and/or photos. Members can then submit their content electronically to their Video Inbox, where they can store, create and share slide shows and video clips with the vMix community.
