NEW YORK, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Urban Music/Columbia Records recording artists Three 6 Mafia -- the first hip-hop ensemble to ever win an Oscar -- will perform live at the WWE(R)'s "Friday Night SmackDown!" event in Bakersfield, California, on Tuesday, May 23. Three 6 Mafia's performance will air on WWE's "Friday Night SmackDown!" on Friday, May 26 on UPN (check local listings).

"It's goin' down in Bakersfield! Three 6 Mafia performs live at 'SmackDown!,'" said Juicy J, one of the leaders of the Memphis rap collective. "We want everybody to come out and party with us! It's gonna be a blast!"

This special appearance by Three 6 Mafia will be filmed on the same day -- May 23 -- that WWE: Wreckless Intent -- the new CD compilation of WWE Superstar theme music performed by some of the biggest and hottest rock, alternative and hip-hop artists -- arrives in stores.

WWE: Wreckless Intent includes "Some Bodies Gonna Get It" (as associated with the WWE talent Mark Henry(TM)), the first new music from Three 6 Mafia since "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" (from Craig Brewster's "Hustle & Flow") took home the Academy Award for the Best Achievement In Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Song).

WWE: Wreckless Intent is comprised of WWE Superstars' entrance themes heard during WWE's weekly television shows -- "RAW(R)," which can be seen every Monday night "live" on the USA Network at 9PM ET, and "Friday Night SmackDown," which can be seen every Friday night at 8PM ET on the UPN Network. As well, there are monthly Pay Per View programs and specials throughout the year in which these themes can be heard on a worldwide basis.
