Eurostar Sets New Guinness World Record With Cast and Filmmakers of Columbia Pictures' The Da Vinci Code

The cast and filmmakers of Columbia Pictures' The Da Vinci Code helped Eurostar set a Guinness World Record for the longest non-stop international train journey. The record was set as the Eurostar train arrived in Cannes, with the cast and filmmakers onboard, for the start of the Cannes Film Festival. The Eurostar journey, which took seven hours 25 minutes, started in London Tuesday morning, after stars Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou and director Ron Howard, had named the train "The Da Vinci Code." It is the first time a Eurostar has made the journey with travellers from London to Cannes, and the longest non-stop high-speed journey in the world, with a distance of 14- hundred-21 kilometers. An official from Guinness World Records certified the record-breaking run and confirmed the record distance during a presentation on arrival at Cannes station.

Road Rage Survey Reveals Best, Worst Cities

The first annual In The Driver's Seat Road Rage Survey, commissioned by AutoVantage, found that the least courteous city in the country is Miami, followed by Phoenix and New York. The other two cities in the bottom five were Los Angeles and Boston. The most courteous city is Minneapolis, followed closely by Nashville, St. Louis, Seattle and Atlanta.

Generation Rx: National Study Confirms Abuse of Prescription and Over-the- Counter Drugs 'Normalized' Among Teens

The intentional abuse of prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) medications to get high is now an entrenched behavior among today's teen population, according to a national study released by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. The Partnership's 18th annual study of teen drug use and attitudes confirms that Generation Rx has arrived as an alarming number of today's teenagers are more likely to have abused Rx and O-T-C medications than a variety of illegal drugs like Ecstasy, cocaine, crack and meth. Nearly one in five teens report abusing prescription medications to get high; and one in 10 report abusing cough medicine to get high.
