Navarre's BCI to Release HD-DVD Programming

First Four Titles -- Including Classic '70s Cult Film Starring Earth, Wind & Fire -- to Be Released in August

All Titles Available for $24.99 SRP

LOS ANGELES, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reacting immediately to the tremendous demand for HD product and the "sell-out" response to HD-DVD players, BCI, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, will be one of the first independent suppliers to release HD programming in both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray format, with its first four titles available this August. The announcement was made today by Ed Goetz, President, BCI.

"With the immediate consumer excitement and demand for HD-DVD players, we're excited to be one of the first suppliers out of the box with HD programming," said Goetz. "Through our long-standing contacts in the DVD production and authoring world, we've been able to lock up deals to release HD-DVD programming as early as this summer. This will be just the beginning of a long line of HD programming from BCI, covering a wide variety of genres."

The first four titles to be released in HD-DVD format by BCI this August include:

-- That's the Way of the World -- Featuring the world-famous Earth, Wind &
Fire and Harvey Keitel, the film explores the politics that surround
the recording industry and a producer trying to fight the system.

-- Galaxina -- A sci-fi/comedy spoof featuring the late Playboy Playmate
Dorothy Stratton.

And two films from Spain's cult horror icon Paul Naschy:

-- Night of the Werewolf -- An evil witch brings back to life the infamous
Elizabeth Bathory, who was executed several hundred years earlier for
murdering young women and bathing in their blood.

-- Vengeance of the Zombies -- An Indian mystic uses magical chants to
raise women from the dead and send them out to perform revenge
killings.

Additional HD-DVD titles to be released later in 2006 include "Son of Paleface" and "The Lemon Drop Kid" -- the first two titles in a series of releases from the Bob Hope Collection. In total, BCI has over 20 HD titles scheduled for release in 2006.

All titles have been digitally restored and created from the original film elements using state of the art equipment, and will also be available in standard and Blu-ray (dates to be determined) formats. Each HD-DVD release will be available at a suggested retail price of $24.99.
