Lighthouse Screens Selected to Join the Japanese Star on Stage
HONG KONG and TOKYO, Japan, May 25 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Lighthouse Technologies' leadership in the high performance LED video market was once again confirmed this week following the awarding of a contract to provide innovative visualization solutions for Japanese singing sensation, Rina Aiuchi.
f.a.t., a leading provider of rental and staging solutions to the Japanese market, selected Lighthouse's renowned R6 video technology to project live images of the Japanese star to audiences attending a unique two-day performance held at the Namba Hall in Osaka, Japan on May 13 and 14, 2006.
Thousands of fans were treated to a front row seat via two impressive Lighthouse 6mm R6 portrait displays, that measuring 1.93 meters x 2.4 meters each, offered spectacular crisp video images and outstanding live close-ups of Ms. Aiuchi as she performed on stage.
Given the modular and lightweight configuration of the Lighthouse systems, the two R6 LED display sections, originally positioned on platforms either side of the stage, were then dismantled and re-assembled to create one dynamic 4.48 meter x 2.4 meter centre stage backdrop for the second day of the event.
Commented Mr. Inui, Director for production specialists f.a.t. who supplied and installed the video display, "Lighthouse's R6 panels are incredibly well designed as due to the fact that they can be easily set up and dismantled in a matter of an hour, they provide organizers of large-scale productions with the freedom and flexibility to create different display configurations.
"As a result, for Ms. Aiuchi's concert, we were able to change the production set to create a unique visual look for each day of the performance."
Lighthouse state-or-the-art video displays have proved a popular choice for many high profile musical events that have recently included the Celtic Tigers, Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams and Coldplay.
Mr. Inui continued, "In addition, we found a further benefit of the Lighthouse technology to be, quite simply, its outstanding picture clarity. The 14 bit video processing, astonishing image quality and high definition projection makes the R6 ideal for major concerts and entertainment events.
"Consequently, both the performer and the program director were extremely pleased with the performance and reliability of the technology," concluded Mr. Inui, "and as for the fans, we hope that through the provision of this turnkey technology we have helped to enhance their enjoyment of this spectacular event."
