Azteca America Adds DirecTV Coverage in San Antonio

- Marks the 17th Major DMA Where DirecTV Carries Azteca America -

LOS ANGELES, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Azteca America, the fastest-growing Hispanic television network of the United States, is pleased to announce that its affiliate group Una Vez Mas has successfully secured carriage of its KTDF station in San Antonio on the DirecTV satellite system.

The agreement marks the 17th major designated market area (DMA) where DirecTV carries Azteca America programming. Azteca America also has network carriage agreements with Comcast Cable and Echostar's Dish Latino service, as well as local cable carriage agreements with almost all of the network affiliated over-the-air stations in 44 DMAs, plus additional Comcast Cable coverage in Washington DC and Portland.

Azteca America has coverage in 46 DMAs, which represent 83% of the US Hispanic population, including 26 of the top 30 Hispanic-market DMAs in the United States.
