With Gas Prices All Shook Up, Graceland Offers Help With Cash Off Platinum Tour
MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- With gas prices rising as fast as an Elvis hit on the charts, Graceland (http://www.elvis.com/ ) is helping visitors offset their increased travel costs. Through June 30, 2006, visitors to Elvis Presley's Graceland will save $3.00 off their Platinum Tour ticket when they present a gas receipt and a coupon downloaded from the free online Graceland Trip Planner. http://www.elvis.com/gracelandtours/
The new program called "Tank you, Tank you very much" was developed as a way to help visitors planning a trip to Memphis and feeling the pinch of increased gas prices around the country. "Over 75% of the visitors to Graceland arrive by automobile, so we want to let them know we understand the prices are high, and thank them for coming," stated Graceland spokesperson Kevin Kern.
