Corporate Team Building Takes a Turn Toward Stardom; Teams Make Their Own Movies on the Universal Studios Back Lot

Corporate Team Building Takes a Turn Toward Stardom; Teams Make Their Own Movies on the Universal Studios Back Lot

LOS ANGELES, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- A new Corporate Team Building event is being offered on the Universal Studios Lot with a chance for every employee to be a ham in front of the camera, as well as an "artiste" behind it.

Each group acquires experience in teamwork amid the fun and excitement of making its own film, according to Warren Press, VP Sales and Marketing, Feet First Eventertainment. See www.FeetFirstEvents.com.

"With hundreds of famous movies and television shows shot at Universal Studios, there is an undeniable feeling of excitement and anticipation in the air when we bring our clients here," says Press. "They know they are in for something special!"

The event is designed for groups ranging in size from ten to 120 people. Employees are put in teams, making their own films by acting, directing their coworkers, assisting with costume, operating the camera and boom microphone as well as many other jobs on the set. Once the films are completed, they are viewed in exclusive screening rooms.

"It was truly amazing to see employees of all levels working together in so many different capacities," says Margaret Murphy, Demand Planner, Nestle USA Beverage Division. "We learned a lot about making movies, but we learned even more about each other. We organize a team building event every year. The 'Lights, Camera, Action!' event is going to be a tough one to beat!"

Feet First Eventertainment, with offices in both Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA, has expertise in non-traditional teambuilding events, including Customized Game Shows, "Corporate Adventures", and excursions designed to unleash participants' creativity.

"This allows employees to get to know one another better," says Press. Feet First's partial client list includes AFLAC, Amgen Pharmaceuticals, Broadcom, Countrywide, Exxon Mobil, Guess, IndyMac Bank, Intuit, KPMG, Microsoft, Nestle, Philip Morris, USC, Wilson Sporting Goods.
