Chester Community Charter School Hosts Career Day for 350 Students
WHAT: Representatives from media outlets are invited to attend as
350 students from grades 4-7 attend Chester Community Charter
School's Career Day and learn about career choices from local
professionals in the fields of medicine, law, media and
cosmetology.
During the event, presenters will provide the students with the
following information:
-- What education or experience is required in each
profession
-- What a typical day consists of
-- What is the typical salary range in their industry
-- What type of expectations a perspective employer
would have for an employee in each profession
Established in 2001, Chester Community Charter School has grown
to provide educational services to approximately 1,700 students
in kindergarten through 7th grade in Chester, Delaware County.
The school provides instruction to its students from five newly
constructed buildings on two campuses in the city of Chester.
