Cablemas Issues Correction to CapEx Numbers Reported in Today's 1Q06 Release

MEXICO D.F., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Cablemas, S.A. de C.V., (Cablemas), the second largest cable television operator in Mexico based on number of subscribers and homes passed, has issued a correction to the Capital Expenditure numbers reported in the Company's First Quarter 2006 earnings release issued earlier today.

The first paragraph of the section entitled "Capex" of the release should read as follows:

"Capital expenditures for 1Q06 rose 60.8%, or Ps.115.8 million, to Ps. 306.3 million from Ps.190.5 million in 1Q05. This amount includes capital expenditures in the amount of Ps.133.9 million for the expansion and upgrade of the company's network and Ps.41.6 million related to network connection drops, high-speed Internet equipment, computer equipment, transportation equipment and real estate, among others."
