Leading Cypriot Pay-TV Broadcaster Implements DIVArchive and DIVAdirector Bundle

BOULDER, Colo., April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Front Porch Digital (FPD), the Broadcast & Media Division of Incentra Solutions, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ICNS) , today announced that Lumiere TV has purchased a DIVArchive system to build its first digital video archive located in Nicosia, Cyprus. Archived content will automatically be accessible to desktop users for browsing through DIVAdirector, Front Porch Digital's Web-based content management application, also purchased by Lumiere.

Lumiere TV (LTV) is the leading Cypriot Pay-TV broadcaster. Lumiere TV Public Company, Ltd. ("LTV") was established in January 1992, to spearhead the development of the Lumiere TV Group as the first Pay-TV channel in Cyprus. As part of its expansion plans and the creation of a fully digital multichannel playout facility, Lumiere TV is building the first digital video archive in Cyprus using DIVArchive. The new DIVArchive installation will be deployed with 135 TB (terabyte) of tape capacity.

DIVAdirector provides a Web-based window into deep archives with features such as user authentication, frame accurate proxy browsing, metadata searches, EDL/shotlist generation and export, and timecode-based partial restore. Positioned as an entry-level content management solution, DIVAdirector allows for simple migration to a true enterprise MAM system at any point, facilitating metadata and proxy export for all assets currently tracked by the CMS. This exported information can then be imported (one time) by the replacement enterprise MAM system.
