It's Like Magic for J-Mac

Who: Jason "J-Mac" McElwain to meet Earvin "Magic" Johnson

What: A meeting between Jason McElwain and NBA legend Magic Johnson will
take place on the very basketball court where J-Mac mania began
back in February. J-Mac, an autistic senior at Greece Athena High
School, had been the manager of the boys varsity basketball team.
At the final game of the regular season, Coach Jim Johnson had
J-Mac suit up in hopes of putting him in the game. When J-Mac
entered the game -- he was on fire -- sinking six three-pointers
in the final four minutes of the game.

Since that time Columbia Pictures has acquired the rights to
J-Mac's life. Laura Ziskin will produce the film through Sony.
Magic Johnson and Mary Martin will serve as executive producers.
