The visceral sound and fury of Grambling State University comes to life in SEASON OF THE TIGER, a docu-drama that explores student athletes and musicians as they strive for excellence and carry on the Tigers' tradition of greatness. The marching band and the football team ... this is a powerful marriage where one is not whole without the other. For the kids, it's a long, tough road that leads to game day each week and they will do whatever it takes to be the best and win. Like the movies "Drumline" and "Friday Night Lights," the glory is hard-earned whether it means taking hits on the football field or enduring grueling practice sessions for the band. The "Greatest Show on Earth" is redefined when the most successful football team in HBCU history and their famous marching band take the field.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDES: ** SEASON OF THE TIGER kicks off with the Mighty Tiger Marching Band and Grambling State University football team preparing for homecoming. Eva, the only girl in the drumline, is worried that she won't make the line-up for the field show at halftime. Mancel, who was kicked out of the band, is so desperate he'll do just about anything to get back in.
