CHICAGO, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- E. The agency is now eligible to be entered and judged in the National Addy Awards which will be presented on Sunday, June 11th at the American Advertising Federation National Conference 2006 in San Francisco.

"We were given an opportunity to create something truly special with 'Storyteller' and 'Power of Voice' and the result is an artistic combination of stunning visuals and powerful messaging that celebrates African-American culture through film. We are very proud of the Voices of Color(TM) campaign and pleased to be recognized with the Addy Award," said Phil Salter, EMC Vice President/Creative Director. "Storyteller" and "Power of Voice" are components of the Voices of Color(TM) Film Series that EMC developed for Wal- Mart, which features positive depictions of African-American life and culture through a broad range of quality programming that promotes the diversity of the African Americans and showcases the array of talented African Americans in the film industry. "How exciting for the agency and the creative team in particular to be recognized by this prestigious award," commented EMC Associate Creative Director Kathleen Humphries. The Addy Award follows EMC recently earning a Telly Award for the Tyson Foods "Powered By" campaign as well as Gold and Silver Service Industry Advertising Awards for outstanding work on the public relations and advertising campaigns for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and American Family Insurance, respectively.

The Addy Awards are the world's largest advertising competition and recognize advertising from media of all types. The awards are conducted by the AAF, a not-for-profit industry association that represents 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. AAF's 130 corporate members are advertisers, agencies and media companies that comprise the nation's leading brands and corporations. The Addy Awards is the only creative awards program administered by the industry for the industry. More than 60,000 annual entries from across the globe are first judged at a local level through competitions organized by more than 200 ad clubs affiliated with the AAF.
