Bobby Moresco to Executive Produce Oak Films, LLC Feature Film

LOS ANGELES, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Bobby Moresco has signed a deal with Oak Films, LLC to Executive Produce a feature film. Oak Films will begin principal photography in the spring, in and around West Palm Beach, Florida. The picture, working title "The Prince and the Pauper," is tentatively scheduled for completion in the fall.

Moresco is best known as a co-writer and producer on "Crash," winner of the Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay Oscars, 2005.

"The Prince and the Pauper" is a modern version of the famous Mark Twain story. In the comic and fast-action film, a rich boy trades places with his mirror double, a poor boy, each finding adventure and life lessons in the process.

Moresco has many years of writing, producing and directing experience in motion pictures, television and theater. Moresco was a co-writer and producer for "Crash," which won the Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay Oscars, 2005. "Crash" also earned a Screens Actors Guild award for Best Ensemble Cast In A Motion Picture, a Producers Guild nomination for Best Picture, a Writers Guild nomination for Best Original Screenplay, nine BAFTA nominations (including Best Film and Best Director) and six NAACP Image Award nominations (including Best Film). Other Moresco credits include co-producer on "Million Dollar Baby" directed by Clint Eastwood and winner of the Best Picture Oscar 2004, and executive producer for "The Black Donnellys."
