LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tut Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:TUTS), an industry leader enabling the delivery of next-generation data and video services over broadband networks, today announced that through its partnership with China Network Communications Corporation (CNC), it provided content contribution solutions for delivery of the 78th Annual Academy Awards to CCTV6, the movie channel of CCTV.
The joint solution with CNC sourced the original feeds from global satellite transponders and provided the encoding and decoding technology to provide translation and editing of the content for customized delivery to the Chinese marketplace. CCTV6 then broadcast the channel to all 34 provinces throughout China.
