New James Bond Girl Eva Green Wakes Up to Green Every Morning, Reports DietarySupplementNews.com
Tells Marie Claire Magazine She Takes Green Magma for Energy
BOCA RATON, Fla., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The new James Bond has a new Bond Girl whose healthy, vivacious glow is bound to make legions of aspiring actresses turn green.
According to the online nutritional publication Dietary Supplement News, French actress Eva Green wakes up to green each morning -- Green Magma. She told Marie Claire Magazine in an article published this month in France, "An hour before breakfast, I drink the barley grass juice Green Magma, a powder I dissolve in water that makes me feel more energetic."
Green Magma(R) is a powdered organic barley grass juice, containing vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, proteins, active enzymes and chlorophyll, said DSN Editor Adrienne Mazzone.
The French beauty's secret is green to go as she gets ready to star in the new James Bond film "Casino Royale" as the character Vesper Lynd, opposite the new James Bond, Daniel Craig. The film is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 17.
In Marie Claire, she reveals that she starts every day by taking the nutritious green powder derived from organic barley grass grown by Green Foods Corporation in Oxnard, California. But she does not say if she prefers it shaken or stirred.
Some are calling her 006g, referring to the portion (6 grams) of Green Magma she probably takes every morning, said Mazzone.
Green Foods, maker of Green Magma, said that Eva Green was not paid to praise their product in Marie Claire.
"Publicity like this you just can't buy unless you're willing to lay out lots of green," said Green Foods publicist Lynn Martin.
Clinical Research Findings: Green Magma lowers cholesterol, LDL oxidation, and free radical activity in the blood.
The results of ongoing clinical studies show that, in addition to its cholesterol-lowering effects, Green Magma acts as an effective antioxidant cocktail in reducing free radical activity and in reducing the oxidation of low-density lipoproteins (LDL) in the blood of healthy, diabetic, and hyperlipidemic individuals
People who regularly consume powdered organic barley grass juice supplements could be providing a boost to their cardiovascular system, according to research published in the peer-reviewed scientific journals, Diabetes & Metabolism, Biological Pharmacology Bulletin, and Food Science & Agricultural Chemistry.
